Cohen Is At It Again… Bruno Gatecrashes Anti-Gay Rally…

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen is causing more chaos as his fictional
alter-ego Bruno - gate crashing an anti-gay marriage rally in
California. Skip

Sacha is currently filming scenes for his new movie Brüno:
Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making
Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a
Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt.

Cohen has already been ejected from a string of high-profile
fashion shows across Europe after a series of stunts, including
sneaking onto the runway.

And on Sunday he caused a commotion in Los Angeles by arriving
at a rally backing the controversial Proposition 8 bill… a
high-level state vote in the upcoming November election to make
same-sex marriages constitutionally illegal in California.

Cohen turned up in disguise wearing a blond wig and preppy
outfit and marched along with protesters. But he was quickly
whisked away by his production team when people began to
discover his real identity.

Lil Wayne Subject of Sick Death Hoax…

Rap superstar Lil Wayne has been targeted in a hoax news report
alleging he had been shot dead in a dispute between rival gangs.

The rapper, 26, was alleged to have died in the early hours of
Saturday following a gig in his native New Orleans, after
becoming involved in a fight between members of the notorious
Los Angeles gangs Bloods and Crips.

A webpage made to look like the BBC news site claimed Lil Wayne,
real name Dwayne Carter, Jr., was shot six times with a semi
automatic 9mm Smith + Wesson handgun.

It’s not the first time Lil Wayne has been the subject of a
vicious, false rumor. Last year it was wrongly claimed that his
then-seven-year-old daughter Reginae had been killed in a car
accident.

Nelly and Ashanti Are ‘Serious’…

Nelly, who has kept mum about his romance with Ashanti for years,
is finally ready to admit it.

He says the key to their long-standing relationship is that
they both love to have a good time.

“That’s the thing between me and her, we just like having fun,”
he said Sunday at Las Vegas’s Lavo club, where he was celebrating
his 34th birthday.

Although Ashani was in Japan and couldn’t attend the party, Nelly
admitted that the two have been “hanging out for a minute.”

“I think it’s always serious,: he said, “when you can hang with
a person continuously … and ['still'] have fun.”

Sho’Nuff… Samuel L. Jackson Lands Role in Last Dragon Remake…

Samuel L. Jackson is preparing to take on the villainous lead
role in a remake of kung-fu cult classic ‘The Last Dragon’.

Jackson will star as Sho’Nuff in the remake of Berry Gordy’s 1985
classic centering on the story of tough street kid Leroy Green’s
quest to become a martial arts legend.

Bosses at Columbia Pictures, who are the helm of the remake, have
signed Jackson up to play the legendary baddie role made famous
by late actor Julias Carey.

And Jackson can’t wait to bring the character back to the big-screen,
telling the Hollywood Reporter, “I’m a huge fan of the original and
look forward to bringing Sho’Nuff into the 21st century.”

The original ‘The Last Dragon’, starring Taimak, grossed $26 million
at the U.S. box office.

I admit it still is one of my favorite, guilty pleasure, movies!

Band From TV Release Disc…

Hugh Laurie and James Denton’s Band From TV has released its
first ever album, with all proceeds going to a string of the
stars’ favorite charities.

The group, comprising of ‘House’ star Laurie, ‘Desperate House-
wives’ actor Denton, ‘Heroes” Greg Grunberg, former Bachelor Bob
Guiney, and ‘NYPD Blue’ actress Bonnie Somerville, released covers
Hoggin’ All The Covers as a CD/DVD on Tuesday.

The small screen rockers perform tracks including ‘Piece of My
Heart’, ‘Mustang Sally’, and ‘The Letter’ on the disc, which was
recorded at a concert in Los Angeles in 2007.

Grunberg formed the group for a one-night-only charity gig, but
the Band From TV has grown into a fundraising force, raising more
than $2 million for various charities.

a men’s magazine back in 2000?

It’s Jessica Biel… Jessica was persuaded to pose for the racy
pictures in 2000 to shed her angelic image from her days on the
TV series ‘7th Heaven’.

But she admits she now regrets agreeing to the photo shoot in
Gear magazine.

She says, “It was supposed to show me being sexier and more mature.
The idea was: Look at me… I am a woman, growing up. I had male
managers at the time, who were really excited about the photo shoot.

“The truth is, though, I was in way over my head. I remember
calling my dad and saying: ‘I screwed up. I went too far and did
not stand up for myself.’”
