Just a week after Ali left the ABC show for professional
reasons, her employer reportedly forced her to choose between
the reality series and her job, Ali says it “would be so nice”
to star in her own Bachelorette installment.
“I would be so flattered,” Ali, who begged Jake Pavelka to take
her back on Monday’s episode, said on Tuesday’s Ellen DeGeneres
Show. “If ABC were to ask me, that would be so great.”

Nicole Richie & Joel Madden Getting Married…
They’ve been together for more than three years and have two
children. Now, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are planning to
make it official.
“Yep. i’m engaged. Very happy. Yeah we’ve been engaged for a
while so your all kind of late on that. But Thanks for the
hooplah all the same,” Joel Tweeted Monday night, after news
of their plans to wed went wide. He also expressed thanks to
relatives who did not let word of the engagement slip.
He Tweeted: “P.s. thats why i love my family and friends. None
of them are sources. All good tight lipped people who let us
enjoy it! Thanks everybody”
Nicole said Monday night during a taping of the Late Show with
David Letterman that the couple are engaged to be married.
After the show, Nicole headed to the New York restaurant Abe &
Arthurs, without Joel for dinner. “She was glowing,” says a
source. “She was telling her table how happy she was.”
Joel and Nicole began dating in December 2006 and have daughter
Harlow, 2, and son Sparrow, 5 months.

Chynna Phillips Checks Herself Into Rehab…
Singer Chynna Phillips has entered rehab, her rep confirms.
“After much thoughtful deliberation, Chynna Phillips has checked
herself into an undisclosed treatment facility for anxiety,” her
rep, Lizzie Grubman says. “With the full support of her family
and friends, she is looking forward to herrecovery. We ask that
people respect her and her family’s privacy at this time.”
Chynna was a member of ’90s band Wilson Phillips. She has three
children with her Gossip Girl husband, Billy Baldwin.
A source close to the singer says that Phillips is still reeling
from her half-sister’s confession that she carried on a drug-
fueled, incestuous affair with their father, John Phillips of the
Mamas and the Papas.
“The whole thing has caused Chynna such stress she needs to rest
because of it,” the insider says. “Mackenzie’s admission took a
toll on her and the whole family.”
In an appearance with Mackenzie on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Chynna
said, “I pray that we all get closer through this crisis… But I
would be lying to you if I didn’t tell you that there are going to
be some huge obstacles in front of us.”

Jay-Z wanted no part in ‘We Are The World’ remake…
Rap superstar Jay-Z turned down the opportunity to join Quincy
Jones’ star-studded remake of “We Are The World” because he
didn’t want to touch the classic.
Legendary producer Jones teamed up with Lionel Richie, who
recorded the original 1985 hit with Michael Jackson, and
recruited a host of artists including Barbra Streisand, Celine
Dion, Wyclef Jean, Janet Jackson, Usher, Lil Wayne and Nick
Jonas to raise money for the Haiti earthquake relief effort.
Jay-Z was personally invited by Quincy to take part in the
charity single, but, while he is supportive of the cause, he
decided against it because he considers the track to be
musically “untouchable,” like the King of Pop’s “Thriller.”
Jay-Z says, “I’m a fan of music. I know the plight and
everything that’s going on in Haiti. I applaud the efforts:
(Millions have been raised) through text (donations) to Haiti.
So I appreciate the efforts and everything, but We are the
World is (musically) untouchable like Thriller is untouchable.
Some things are justuntouchable. It was a valiant effort, but
for me, it’s gonna be untouchable.”

Madonna in Talks to Design Macy’s Fashion Line…
Could cone bras be coming to a department store near you?
If Madonna gets her way, they just might!
Madonna is reportedly in talks to design a new fashion line
exclusively for Macy’s.
According to reports, she is considering signing on to launch a
contemporary women’s collection with merchandise that would
include apparel, accessories, intimates and footwear.
The name of the label is even being discussed, and the top
contenders are “Material Girl” for apparel and “Truth or Dare,”
the title of a 1991 documentary of Madonna’s world tour for her
lingerie and underwear.
Sources also say that a deal is close to being signed.
This wouldn’t be Madonna’s first foray into fashion.
She recently modeled for Dolce & Gabbana’s spring advertising
campaign and has also appeared in ads for Louis Vuitton,
Versace and Gap. And in 2007, she created a co-branded women’s
collectionwith H&M, under the M by Madonna label.

The “TiK ToK” hitmaker grew up as the daughter of a struggling
songwriter, and wasn’t even paid for her first big break in
which she provided the main backing vocals on Flo Rida’s huge
hit “Right Round.”
And now she’s coming into money following the success of her
debut album “Animal,” K$sha insists she has no plans to live
lavishly, because the memories of being poor are still raw.
K$sha comments, “I can’t stand pretentious people. I think
growing up without money has taught me not to take myself
seriously. I’m the same person I was when I was selling clothes
to buy a taco for dinner, I just have a few extra bucks.
“I bought a 1998 Honda car, which I needed. I don’t believe in
wasting money when there are people in the world who can’t eat.
If I earn a lot of money, I’ll treat myself, but I’m not going
to be ridiculous. I think it’s kind of gross.
“I don’t like spending money on stuff. I may buy some
instruments though.”
