Here’s the Scoop….

I’ve gotten a bunch of email asking for an update on my mom.

Well I have to say I think she’s made some really big strides.

Last week she was hit by the flu bug (I think because she
had her flu shot the week before). But by Saturday she was
feeling better and we did something we haven’t done in a long,
long time together…. we went shopping.

We started out at Sam’s Club and we walked the whole store.

Then it was over to K-Mart where she wanted to pick up some
underwear… she’s like Rainman when it comes to this. K-Mart
has the best she says!

Well we were out the entire day and she must’ve walked at least
a few miles. She hasn’t done this in maybe a year.

Plus I noticed and so did she, that while her vision is still
not great, she was at least able to get up close to signs
and read what the sales were.

She was pretty proud of herself, as was I. At almost 82 she
kept up with me.

Many thanks for all your thoughts, emails and prayers. I do
believe they have helped!

Best,
Anisa

Julianna Says No To ‘ER’ Re-Visit…

Former ‘ER’ star Julianna Margulies turned down an
invitation to reprise her role for the final episode of
the medical drama - because she doesn’t think her character’s
storyline can be improved.

Julianna shot to fame as nurse Carol Hathaway when ‘ER’
premiered in 1994, but left the hit show after six seasons
to pursue other projects.

Her onscreen character was written out of the show when she
settled down with George Clooney’s character, Dr Doug Ross.

And although other ‘ER’ alums, including Noah Wyle, Eriq La
Salle and Anthony Edwards have agreed to appear in the show’s
final 15th season, Margulies has declined the opportunity.

She says, “I feel like I left Carol Hathaway in the best
scenario possible. I can’t imagine making it any better
than that.”

McCartney Wants To Release Unheard Beatles Epic…

Paul Mccartney is planning to release an unheard Beatles’
track his former bandmate George Harrison once deemed too
adventurous for the public.

‘Carnival of Light’, a 14-minute improvised song recorded in
1967, was played just once in public at a London music festival
before it was shelved - because the Fab Four were convinced
the psychedelic epic was too radical for their fans.

Harrison even dubbed the experimental tune as “avant-garde a
clue”.

But now Paul believes the “time has come for it (Carnival of
Light) to get its moment”.

Paul told the BBC, “It does exist. I like it because it’s the
Beatles free, going off piste.

“We were set up in the studio and would just go in every day
and record. I said to the guys, ‘This is a bit indulgent but
would you mind giving me 10 minutes? I’ve been asked to do this
thing. All I want you to do is just wander round all of the
stuff and bang it, shout, play it. It doesn’t need to make any
sense. Hit a drum, wander to the piano, hit a few notes.’ And
then we put a bit of echo on it. It’s very free.”

Miley Cyrus Victim Of Twisted Hacker…

Miley Cyrus’ reps have been forced to confirm she is still alive
after an Internet hacker broke into YouTube account and falsely
claimed she had died in a car crash.

A video was uploaded onto Cyrus’ official page on the video
sharing website on Sunday, which told fans: “Miley died this
morning after being hit by a drunk driver. She always told us if
anything ever happened to her then tell her loyal fans first before
the public. RIP Miley, we’ll never forget you!”

The video, set to the Miley’s sad new song ‘Goodbye’, upset the
singer/actress’ friends and family, who had to quickly deny the
claims - insisting it was the work of a twisted hacker.

                  *-*-* GUESS WHO *-*-*-

The actor who says he was too young to handle international fame
after he starred in a mega-hit movie insisting he nearly went
out of his mind?

It’s Leonardo DiCaprio… Leo became a heartthrob all over the
world at the age of 23 after landing the lead role in the 1997
film ‘Titanic’ alongside Kate Winslet.

But he admits he was not mature enough to cope with turning into
a major Hollywood star overnight - and the years following the
movie’s release saw him become a completely different person.

He says, “Titanic began a period of rebellion for me. As soon as
people give you enough compliments and you suddenly have more power
than you’ve ever had in your entire life, it’s not that you become
an arrogant p***k, or you become rude to people, but you get a false
sense of your own importance. You’re treading in dangerous territory
when you begin thinking you’ve altered the course of history. It was
like a runaway train. I didn’t understand what was happening to me.”
