Here’s the Scoop….

If you’ve been watching ‘Dancing With The Stars’ then you
are probably aware of the litany of injuries. I have been
a faithful viewer since season one and I don’t recall there
ever being so many injuries.

In fact, I think if you tallied up all the past seasons it
would add up to as many as this season.

Certainly the dancers are in great shape, but I never realized
how tough the dancers are. They really work thru pain and
injuries.

Janet Getting Ready For Motherhood…

Janet Jackson has offered another major hint about mother-
hood in a new magazine interview.

Janet admits she’s just waiting for the right time to become
a first-time mom and boyfriend Jermaine Dupri can’t wait to
be a father.

She tells Sister 2 Sister magazine, “At some point it’s coming.
When? I have no idea. He (Dupri) has been past ready. He’s just
waiting for me; I’m the one holding up the whole thing.

“Everyone tells me that there will never be a good time, that
I will always be busy, but I just think when the stars are
aligned it will happen.”

There are rumors suggesting she may already be pregnant… after
she pulled the plug on a string of concerts she rescheduled
after falling ill with vertigo at the beginning of October.

Will Smith’s Son Named As Star of ‘Karate Kid’ Remake…

Jaden Smith has signed up to star in a new version of classic
80s film ‘The Karate Kid’.

The 10-year-old actor, son of Will Smith, only made his acting
debut in 2007’s ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’.

He has a role in upcoming thriller ‘The Day the Earth Stood
Still’ and as a martial acts practitioner has been earmarked
as the perfect young star to star in a Karate Kid remake.

The 1984 original starred Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, a
high school student who learns to defend himself in the face
of bullying after taking karate classes from eccentric mentor
Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita).

According to Variety, the new version will “borrow” elements of
the original plot and is to shoot in Beijing in 2009.

Jaden Smith is notably younger than Macchio when he first starred
as LaRusso in the mid-80s while the industry newspaper has made
no mention of any further casting.

Will Smith will produce alongside James Lassiter, Ken Stovitz
and Jerry Weintraub.

Streisand Furious With Josh Over ‘W’ Role…

Josh Brolin sparred with his liberal step-mother Barbra Streisand
when she protested his role in the George W. Bush biopic ‘W’.

The singer has been an outspoken opponent of Bush throughout his
two terms in the White House.

And according to Josh, Streisand freaked out when he told her he
would be playing him in Oliver Stone’s movie.

Brolin recounts, “She said, ‘How much are you getting paid? I
told her it was a very low fee. She said, ‘Then why are you
doing it?’”

But the actor insists the legendary star’s snub didn’t give him
second thoughts.

He adds, “She was furious and would not talk to me. I kind of
liked that one.”

Lisa Rinna… “I over-injected Face Filler”…

Actress and former ‘Dancing With The Stars’ contestant, Lisa
Rinna has openly confessed to taking her beauty regime too far
and becoming an over-injected Juvederm fanatic.

The 45-year-old former ‘Melrose Place’ regular admits she
realized she had gone too far with the cosmetic face filler
when she saw recent photographs of herself.

She told In Touch magazine, “I saw a picture of myself and
thought, ‘Uh-oh.’ You have to be careful. I’m a perfect
example of that!

“At my age, you have to look good if you want to continue
working. Sometimes we do things to help, and I did. I had
tried Botox, and then fillers came into the plastic surgery
world, and you think, ‘That’s not a bad idea.’

“(At first) I thought I looked great. It was a little bit more
than normal, but you think it’ll go down, so I wasn’t scared.
But two days ago, I saw a photo of myself at a party and went,
‘Oh, jeez. I have too much filler.’”

Lisa is now urging women of a certain age to use exercise as a
way to look and feel young by releasing a dance fitness DVD in
December.

Word is Orlando Bloom is engaged to his long term girlfriend
Miranda Kerr.

Orlando and the Australian supermodel are reportedly making
plans to tie the knot.

A source said: “They are talking about settling down and getting
married in a year.

“They have had a bit of a crazy year, but they do love each other
and she wants to be his wife.”

Miranda, 25, has been sporting a collection of expensive jewelry,
including a stunning jewel-encrusted bracelet, most of which had
been bought for her by Orlando, 31.

It’s Donald Trump… The Donald has put up Jennifer and some
of her relatives at the Trump International Hotel & Tower
free of charge.

“She’s a great girl. And we’re protecting them well,” Trump
said at a benefit honoring Australia director Baz Luhrman at
the Museum of Modern Art Monday night. “They are very safe.”

Jennifer has been seeking refuge at the Trump holding since
her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago on
Oct. 24th.
