Here’s the Scoop….
I’m still trying to get back into the routine of getting things
done at the office.

Many thanks to Jeanie for covering for me all last week.

I will say you guys sure didn’t give her a break. I got so many
emails, many angry, at the misspellings. All I can say is
it happens. She was probably trying to get so many other things
done that she rushed through it.

Anyway, I’m back and of course I too will have a few words
spelled incorrectly, but I’ll try to keep them to a minimum.

Gwyneth Paltrow Sparks Outrage With Fur Ad…
Gwyneth Paltrow has angered animal rights campaigners by
endorsing a new collection of luxury goods using fur.

The actress appears in Italian designer Tod’s advertising
campaign draped in fox fur and wearing fur-lined boots.

The 35-year-old and husband Coldplay singer Chris Martin have
previously won praise for their green credentials.

But Paltrow has angered animal rights campaigners with her
latest project. Mark Glover, director of Respect for Animals,
says, “Gwyneth Paltrow should be ashamed. I can only assume
that Paltrow either is ignorant of the facts or lacks human
decency and compassion.”

And a spokesman for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals
(PETA) claim calls to the star had been rebuffed.

The spokesman adds, “We’ve written to her many times, and sent
her videos showing how animals suffer for fur, but have never
received a response.

“Apparently her beauty really is only skin deep. Gwyneth Paltrow
won’t be the apple of her daughter’s eye if she continues to
flaunt fur. It’s a terrible example to set for a young child.”

A spokesman for Paltrow and Martin was unavailable for comment.

Depp, Law + Farrell’s gift to Ledger’s daughter
Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell have donated their
fee for completing Heath Ledger’s final film role to the
late star’s daughter.

The acting trio agreed to play versions of Ledger’s character
Tim in The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus following his death in
January.

And they decided to donate their fees to two-year-old Matilda,
Ledger’s daughter with actress Michelle Williams, because the
star left an old will which did not include the little girl.

Director Terry Gilliam has praised the actors for their generosity,
saying: “They didn’t take money - it goes to Heath’s daughter.

“That’s extraordinary! And wonderful… and when you’re part of
that, you think, ‘Ah, this is maybe why I went into the movies in
the beginning. I thought it would be full of wonderful people.’
And we’ve got a movie full of wonderful people who did extra-
ordinary things to help.”

Harry Potter News…
Rupert Grint is terrified at the prospect of kissing Emma Watson
in the final ‘Harry Potter’ film - because his co-star is like
a sister.

The teenage stars have worked together since they were cast in
the first installment of the franchise. Now the pair will have
to pucker up in the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly
Hallows - and Grint admits he is dreading it.

He says, “The kiss will be quite uncomfortable. “Emma’s like a
sister to me so it’s going to be, like, really, really weird.”

Meanwhile Daniel Radcliff is preparing to bare all in the final
film of the HARRY POTTER franchise - and insists he isn’t scared
about stripping off on screen.

The 19 year old was required to disrobe on stage when he starred
in the dramatic play Equus in London’s West End last year… a
role he’ll soon reprise on Broadway.

And he insists the experience has given him the confidence to
appear naked in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which
starts filming next year.

He says, “At first I thought I’d have pants (underwear) on for
the scene. Apparently not. “But I’ve sort of done that before on
stage. It’s all old hat now, really.”

Pussycat Dolls… Nicole Scherzinger & Boyfriend Robbed…
Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger and her racing
driver boyfriend Lewis Hamilton have been targeted by thieves
in Spain.

Two bags were stolen from the couple’s rented Mercedes shortly
after a chauffeur had loaded their luggage into the vehicle
outside the Malaga Palacio hotel on Saturday.

An eyewitness said, “Lewis’ driver was cleaning the wing mirrors
when two men ran up to the open boot (trunk) he’d just finished
loading and pinched a rucksack and a leather hold-all.

“The one (thief) carrying the rucksack dropped it as the body-
guards pursued him but the other guy with the smaller piece of
luggage kept hold of his.

“I overheard one of the security men saying it had Lewis’ iPod
inside it with all his music on.”

The actress who keeps in touch with the Wendy’s manager who gave
her her first job - because she loved working at the fast food
restaurant.

It’s Eva Longoria Parker… Eva worked at a Wendy’s in her native
Texas for six years and still has fond memories of her pre-fame job.

She says, “I loved it. And I still love them. They are an amazing
organization. I still keep in touch with my manager from when I was
14. They are just great to me.

“I wanted to have a quinceanera (15th birthday party), so I went to
Wendy’s to work to pay for my own quinceanera. I stayed.

“I paid for my cheerleading and everything through that. It was like
whatever you want to do outside of school, you have to pay for it.
I never had a car because I was always trying to save.”
