exactly what I am going to talk about…

During the In Memoriam tribute, which remembers all the stars
we have lost over the past year, two very honorable and
distinguished actresses were overlooked.

Farrah Fawcett and Bea Arthur!

Though one could argue that these ladies were primarily TV
actresses, both did have parts in some lesser known films.
Besides, Michael Jackson got thrown in there and off-hand,
we can only think of one movie he has been in!

You’ve got a lot of explaining to do Academy!

Betty White Confirms She’ll Appear on Saturday Night Live…

Betty White fans, your prayers have been answered. The former
Golden Girl will appear on Saturday Night Live in the near
future, Betty confirmed at Elton John’s annual Oscars viewing
party on Sunday night.

Fans have been clamoring for Betty to do SNL, an idea she
called “ridiculous” just a few weeks ago, ever since her
comic turn in a Snickers ad during the Super Bowl. One
Facebook page devoted to the cause has attracted half a
million fans.

When Betty was asked are you doing Saturday Night Live, she
answered, “Yes,” even if she remains perplexed by the groundswell
of support.

“I don’t know why or how,” she says, “but it’s been wonderful.”

Betty didn’t offer any details about the SNL gig, and it remains
unclear when she will appear, or what it will entail.

According to reports, she might appear on a special “Women of
Comedy” episode with former SNL cast members Molly Shannon, Tina
Fey and Amy Poehler, but executive producer Lorne Michaels
reportedly denied that.

Betty’s career resurgence hasn’t come completely out of the blue.
She did star with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds in the romantic
comedy The Proposal, and was recognized with a lifetime
achievement award at the Screen Actors Guild.

Ben Roethlisberger Accused of Sexual Assault…

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has been
accused of sexual assault by a young woman in Georgia.

The alleged incident occurred early this morning at Capital
City, a club in Milledgeville, Georgia.

According to law enforcement sources, the alleged victim, who
has already been interviewed by police, was treated at a local
hospital and released.

We’re told in addition to the alleged victim, witnesses are
being interviewed, and one law enforcement source says they
will attempt to interview Ben.

In addition to the Milledgeville Police Dept, reports say
the Georgia Bureau of Investigations is also investigating.

As previously reported, Ben is being sued by a Reno woman,
Andrea McNulty, who claims the QB sexually assaulted her
in 2008.

According to reports, Ben has already been interviewed by
police. We’re also told no formal charges have been filed
at this point.

Brooke Burke To Co-Host Dancing With The Stars…

Brooke Burke has been named the new co-host of ABC’s “Dancing
with the Stars.”

Host Tom Bergeron announced that Brooke would take over for
Samantha Harris on “Good Morning America” on Monday morning.

Brooke was crowned queen of the ballroom on the seventh season
of “Dancing.”

She has previously hosted “Rock Star: INXS,” “Rock Star:
Supernova,” TV Land’s “She’s Got the Look,” and E!‘s “Wild On.”
As an actress she has made appearances on “Less than Perfect,”
“Las Vegas,” “The Bernie Mac Show,” the new “Melrose Place”
and “Monk.”

“Dancing” returns with a two-hour season premiere, with
contestants that include reality star Kate Gosselin, “Baywatch’s”
Pamela Anderson, astronaut Buzz Aldrin and Olympics figure skating
gold medalist Evan Lysacek, on Monday, March 22 at 8 PM on ABC.

Host Tom Bergeron welcomed Brooke to ‘Dancing’ on Monday via
Twitter.

“Welcome back , Brooke! Looking forward to having Brooke Burke
as my new co-host on DWTS! (that was the worst kept secret this
weekend…),” he Tweeted on Monday.

24’s Annie Wersching Expecting a Baby…

The clock is ticking down … to a new baby.

24 star Annie Wersching and her actor/comedian husband Stephen
Full are expecting their first child.

The couple is “ecstatic,” says Annie, who plays Renee Walker
opposite Kiefer Sutherland on the show.

“Feeling great” during her pregnancy, Annie notes that she’s
“craving mint chocolate chip ice cream!”

The couple married at their Los Angeles home in September 2009.

Tiger Woods’ wife moves back into family home?

Tiger Woods is making some progress in repairing his fractured
marriage to Elin Nordegren, the Swedish model has reportedly
moved back into the family home in Florida.

The couple has been living apart since November 2009 after news
broke of the disgraced Tiger’s infidelities.

He entered a rehabilitation facility for sexual addiction therapy
earlier this year before making his first public appearance since
the scandal hit the headlines at a press conference in February,
where he apologized to his family, friends and colleagues.

Elin was notably absent from the media gathering, fueling
speculation the couple was heading for divorce.

But the couple appears to be working on their marriage, Elin was
spotted arriving at the Isleworth mansion with the couple’s two
kids on Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports, a moving truck showed up at the house soon
afterwards and workers were seen taking things into the house.

It’s Kirk Douglas…

Kirk owned the rights to the Ken Kesey classic and harbored plans
to turn it into a movie.

He decided to give his son, who at the time was a struggling actor,
the chance to make his mark in Hollywood as a producer and handed
the book to his son to turn into reality.

It took several years for Douglas Jr. to raise enough funds to make
the movie and he and his co-producer Saul Zaentz eventually chose
Nicholson to play R.P. McMurphy, because he no longer wanted to live
in his famous father’s shadow.

The decision to cast the then Jack instead of Kirk left the veteran
star annoyed, but Michael insists he has no regrets.

He tells Vanity Fair magazine, “My father has played up his
disappointment with that pretty good. God bless him, he’s 93. I
finally said, ‘Dad, I worked six years getting this together. . .’”

But Michael admits his father has been more than adequately
compensated financially from the 1975 project.

He adds, “I have to remind him, I shared part of my producing back-
end (credit) with him, so he ended up making more money off that
movie than he had in any other picture.”
