Here’s the Scoop….

For those of you who are a fan of ‘Dancing With The Stars’,
“Misty May-Treanor sustained an injury on Friday and
received immediate medical attention,” show producers confirmed
on Saturday in a statement.

“Despite previous reports, she did not break her ankle. She is
resting comfortably at home. Doctors will reevaluate her
condition on Monday and determine the outcome of her participation
on the show.”

At the time of this writing we hadn’t heard, but a source told
me that she is definitely out and will require surgery.

Justin Timberlake & Jessica Biel ‘Engaged’…

As we reported last week Justin was ready to pop the question
to Jessica Biel. Word is Justin and Jessica were attending her
friend’s wedding in Rome when he reportedly got down on one knee.

“He is besotted with Jessica and wants to make an honest woman
of her,” a source said.

“He planned to propose in Rome because it is such a romantic city.
Jessica is over the moon and looking forward to a huge wedding.
She can’t wait.”

Dancing With The Stars Winner Indicted…

Brazilian race car driver and “Dancing with the Stars” champion
Helio Castroneves has been indicted, accused of failing to pay
tax on his $5 million income.

Helio, his sister Katiucia and lawyer Alan Miller are all
implicated in the charges of conspiracy to defraud the U.S. and
tax evasion.

According to papers the trio stands accused of using “an offshore
Panamanian shell corporation, Seven Promotions, to conceal and
disguise the true and correct amount of Helio Castroneves’ income
from the Internal Revenue Service.”

The authorities claim Castroneves was paid $2 million by a Brazilian
trading company but made it appear that he only received $200,000,
among other charges.

“He surrendered his passport and has permission to travel anywhere
in the U.S. for business,” his lawyer, Mark Seiden said. “For
travel overseas, including an upcoming race in Australia, he needs
to get permission from the court.”

Seiden believes Castroneves is a superb and accomplished profess-
ional racecar driver who took bad advice.

“He is not a tax lawyer and not an accountant,” says Seiden. “He
relied in good faith on competent professionals for tax advice.
We don’t feel he did anything wrong, and will be vindicated in
court.”

If convicted of all charges, Castroneves faces a maximum of 35
years in prison.

On a positive note, Helio finished first in the Petit Le Mans
Prototype 2 Class auto race on Saturday at Georgia’s Road Atlanta
in Braselton.

William Petersen Hints About ‘CSI’ Movie…

Departing ‘CSI’ star William Petersen has hinted he’ll return
for a big screen version of the hit TV drama.

The actor, who will give up his role as forensics expert Gil
Grissom on the show during this season, admits there have been
talks about turning the series into a blockbuster movie for years
and it still might happen.

William, who will stay on as a producer of the show after his
departure this fall, says, “I’d love to see us make a CSI film…
That’s the reason Grissom isn’t going to die of a brain tumor.

“It would be good if we did it (film) right. The whole world is
interested in the show… (but) you have to make sure it’s not
just an extended episode.”

Sacha’s At It Again…

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen was ejected from a catwalk show during
Paris Fashion Week in France on Friday, after climbing on stage
and attempting to slip a note to the models.

The funnyman is currently filming scenes for his new movie ‘
Brüno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of
Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence
of a Gay Foreignerin a Mesh T-Shirt.’  (Yes that is the
Looooongest movie title!)

Dressed as his camp alter-ego Bruno, he attempted to carry out
his latest stunt at the JC De Castebajac show - scenes which
are suspected to feature in his upcoming comedy.

But he suffered a small setback when the models and audience
ignored his presence and continued despite the disturbance.

The star was promptly ejected by security staff in what is his
fourth attempt to disrupt a fashion show.

Dressed as Bruno, Cohen twice crashed shows at Madrid Fashion
Week in Spain and was also thrown out of a show in Milan, Italy
last week after storming the runway and strutting along the cat-
walk… prompting organizers to call the police.

Sacha’s latest film is being shot in a similar documentary style
to his 2006 hit ‘Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make
Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.’
