Fox, Jackman & Depp Top Sexiest Stars Poll…

Megan Fox, Hugh Jackman and Johnny Depp have topped a new
online poll of the world’s sexiest screen stars.

‘Transformers’ star Fox came first in the sexiest woman poll,
topping the list voted for by both men and women.

Jackman was voted the most attractive male star in a poll of
other men, while women chose Depp as their favorite movie hunk.

The men who voted in the Fandango.com survey of more than 2,000
readers put Jessica Alba at number two and Scarlett Johansson
at number three. The girls handed second place to Jennifer
Aniston and third to Halle Berry.

In the guys polls, men scored Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt in
second and third place behind Jackman, and the women voted
Twilight star Robert Pattinson into second place and Denzel
Washington into third

Efron Plays Santa For Sick Kids…

Zac Efron made Christmas come early for some young patients at
a Los Angeles hospital - he delighted children by visiting their
ward with some gifts.

Zac went to the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA on Friday to play
Santa Claus by giving away over $12,000 worth of toys.

The kids were ecstatic at their surprise guest, who toured the
wards for two hours, giving out presents including art sets, board
games and High School Musical products, signing autographs and
posing for pictures with staff.

A source said, “He really spent time bonding with each of the
children and their families. The kids were smitten and beaming
from ear to ear. Some of the kids couldn’t even speak, but they
had the widest grins and would sit as close to him as possible.

“Zac was super gracious and could not have been more kind and
truly happy to be there.”

Former Idol Contestant Luke Menard Cancer Free…

Former ‘American Idol’ contestant Luke Menard has been given the
all-clear from cancer.

The 30-year-old, a finalist in the seventh season of the singing
contest, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer of the
immune system earlier this year (08), but has now been told he
is free from the disease.

He said in an interview, “I’m cancer free according to my last
test scan that I had. It’s been exciting to get that news.”

The singer still has more than a dozen radiation treatments to go
to target the scar tissue left following months of chemotherapy,
but he is thrilled to end 2008 with happy news.

He adds, “We were always praying for this news - to be cancer free.
When you’re going through chemo, it’s kind of a one-day at a time
thing. You don’t know how you’re gonna feel when you wake up in the
morning and sometimes you’re kind of sick and you’re throwing up.

“It’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s
definitely been a year to remember and a year to forget - being
on American Idol, and days after I was eliminated being told I
had cancer. It’s been a crazy year.”

And his time on the reality TV show helped with his battle with
cancer more than he could have dreamed - most of his medical bills
were taken care of by people concerned for him.

He continues, “All the producers from ‘American Idol,’ 19
Entertainment, David Cook, who won American Idol, he has been
extremely helpful, even financially with medical bills. 19
Entertainment has helped out with medical bills, so it’s been
way more than I expected.”

star Robert Pattinson seems to have had a run-in with a pair
of scissors. Pattinson’s long, floppy killer coif has been
shorn down to almost nothing.

The singer who stopped taking antidepressants while recording
a new album in a bid to confront her inner demons?

It’s Courtney Love… Courtney insists fans will get a glimpse
of her true self with the release of upcoming album Nobody’s
Daughter, because she refused to take any medicines to moderate
her personality.

She tells Elle magazine, “I’m off antidepressants for the moment
because my album producer wants me to feel the rage, wants me to
be really angry, wants me to face the demons. And I am so
f***ing angry!

“I’m getting back on them as soon as recording the album is
finished. I’m not going to punch anybody, but I have to do two
hours of exercise and chanting a day to feel good.”

Her album is slated for release sometime next year.
