Kathy Bates: ‘I should have made cancer battle public’…

Oscar winner Kathy Bates regrets not going public with her
ovarian cancer battle because she feels she could have helped
other women.

Kathy has since signed on as an Ovarian Cancer Foundation
spokeswoman but she couldn’t face the idea of talking about
the deadly disease while she was battling it.

Kathy says, “I shook all afternoon after I had gotten the news
and I was going for more tests. I was sitting in my hospital
gown and someone recognized me… I was like, I don’t wanna
talk about that now.”

Kathy has more than made up for lost time by starring in a new
public service announcement aimed at helping women seek out a
cancer diagnosis as early as possible.

She adds, “I want to spread awareness about your body and trying
to stay in tune with your body and get tested when you can for
anything that doesn’t seem right.”

Actress Alyssa Milano Engaged…

Alyssa Milano is engaged to marry a Hollywood agent.

Publicists for Alyssa said Tuesday that the actress accepted a
marriage proposal on December 18th from David Bugliari, an agent
at Creative Artists Agency.

The two have been dating for over a year now, but no wedding date
has been set.

Alyssa has most recently appeared in a recurring role on “My Name
is Earl.” Her other TV credits include “Charmed” and “Melrose Place.”

Brad sets the record straight…

Brad Pitt has denied he cheated on ex-wife Jennifer Aniston
with Angelina Jolie and says he’s proud of the way he
handled the split.

Brad, who lives with Angelina and their six children, insists
the couple got together following his divorce.

Brad said, “What people don’t understand is that we filmed ‘Mr.
and Mrs. Smith’ for a year. We were still filming after Jen
and I split up. Even then it doesn’t mean that there was some
kind of dastardly affair. There wasn’t. I’m very proud of the
way that it was handled. It was respectful.”

But Brad also said he thinks Jennifer is a “sweetheart” and says
there are no bad feelings between her and Angelina, despite Jen
calling Angelina “very uncool” in a recent interview.

“It’s so created,” Brad added. “Jen and I still check in with each
other. She was a big part of my life, and me hers. I don’t see how
there cannot be that. That’s life, man. That’s life.”

Carrie Underwood has a new man in her life.

Carrie has been romantically linked to Canadian born
hockey player Mike Fisher, a 6′1″ center for the NHL’s
Ottawa Senators.

Carrie and Mike reportedly met when Mike checked out one
of Carrie’s concerts in March of 2008, but things heated
up over the holidays when fans caught a glimpse of Carrie
on the Jumbotron at the Air Canada Centre. Carrie was
reportedly in a private VIP box, which also included Mike’s
parents and his brother.

Tony Greco, a fitness trainer in Ottawa, and a friend of
Mike, told the paper that things are going well for the
singer and her new love interest.

“I think it’s serious, I mean he’s really happy with her.
They’re a perfect match,” Tony said.

It’s a girl for Jennifer and Ben…

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s three-year-old daughter,
Violet, became a big sister on Tuesday after the couple
announced the arrival of their second child.

A representative for Jennifer confirmed to People magazine
that Jennifer and Ben have had a healthy baby girl, although
further details have yet to be released.

In the last few days Jennifer, who kept quiet about the
pregnancy until August when she was five-months pregnant,
has stayed close to home, taking Violet on play dates and
picking her up from play school in Los Angeles.

The new addition to the Affleck household is the perfect start
to the New Year for Jennifer and Ben, who have previously said
they were so excited about adding to their family.

Garber, Jennifer is perfectly suited to being a mom. “She knows

Craig Ferguson has announced that he was married over the
holidays. Ferguson tied the knot with is longtime girlfriend,
art dealer Megan Wallace Cunningham, he said on Monday night’s
Late Late Show.

“The wedding took place in Vermont, where they have legalized
gay civil unions - and I married a woman. But, I am European, so
I was both the groom and the maid of honor” he joked.

The 46-year-old also showed off a wedding picture, which showed
he and Conningham outside as it snowed.

Former “Home Improvement” star Tim Allen is to become a dad
at 55.

The actor’s wife of over two years, actress Jane Hajduk, is
pregnant with the couple’s first child together.

The baby will arrive in the spring. No date has yet been

Tim has a 19-year-old daughter, Katherine, with ex-wife Laura
Deibel.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiance Ross McCall have called it
quits.

“They broke up over the holidays and have ended their engagement,”

Reps for both Hewitt and McCall had no immediate comment.

Jennifer, 29, got engaged to the Scottish actor, 32, in November

Romijn and O’Connell Welcome Twin Girls

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell are celebrating after the
“Ugly Betty” actress gave birth to twin girls.

The baby news was broken by the couple’s close pal, DJ Howard
Stern, on his Sirius radio show on Monday, and Romijn’s publicist
Lewis Kay confirmed the news.

Kay says, “Mother, father and both girls are all home and
doing well.”

Romijn, who was previously married to “E.R.” actor John Stamos,
wed O’Connell in 2007 and the baby girls, named Dolly Rebecca
Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, are the couple’s first children
together. The girls reportedly were born Dec. 28.

And O’Connell has already revealed plans to be a strict parent
to his kids, recently joking, “Just the fact that they’re girls,
you know? I don’t want them to date. They’re only allowed to
date men who run countries. They’re only allowed to date men
who are heir to the throne or are currently running a nation.”

Sam Shepard Arrested for Speeding and DUI…

Actor and playwright Sam Shepard has been arrested by
authorities after he was caught speeding and allegedly drunk
driving, according to reports.

Sam was pulled over early on Saturday morning in Normal, Ill.,
for driving at 46 miles per hour in a 30-miles-per-hour zone.

And a subsequent breath test allegedly indicated his blood-
alcohol level was almost double the legal limit.

Police say the star had been drinking at a local bar and was on
his way to a hotel when he was pulled over by cops.

The 65-year-old was arrested at the scene and taken to McLean
County jail. He posted $300 bail and is due to appear in court
at a later date.

Patricia Arquette has filed for divorce, putting an end to her
two-year marriage to “The Punisher” star Thomas Jane.

The actress cites “irreconcilable differences” for the split.

She filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday.

The couple, who wed in June, 2006, have a 5-year-old daughter
together, named Harlow.

Both have been married before… Arquette was married to actor
Nicolas Cage, while Jane was briefly married to Rutger Hauer’s
daughter Aysha in the late 1990s.

He was also engaged to actress Olivia d’Abo.

Word is Patricia has hired top divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to
represent her. That’s not a good sign that it will be amicable.

The rocker who has a new rule backstage at shows, those entering

It’s Tommy Lee… The Motley Crue drummer still likes to party
and insists on a Jagermeister dispenser backstage at shows.

And anyone who wants to party with him must be semi-naked.

He says, “You must remove one article of clothing — your pants,
your top — or else you are not allowed in my dressing room.”

Lee tells Playboy magazine his new rule is a big hit: “That
gets the [bleep] party started so quick. Everyone’s walking
around topless.”

Boy what an adventure we had getting from Chicago to Arizona
on Christmas Eve.

The weather sure made things difficult. We couldn’t get a
direct flight so we had to go to Vegas then wait a few
flights before we got to Arizona.

On our flight was Clifton Davis. He was in the TV series,
‘Amen’ and ‘That’s My Mamma’.  He was a two rows behind us.
I didn’t recognize him, but the flight attendant told me he
was on the flight. If you know who he is, you may not know
that he wrote the song, ‘Never Can Say Goodbye’.

Anyway, back to the day’s flight delays. We weren’t the only
ones having issues. While I was in line trying to get on a
flight from Vegas to Phoenix, I was talking to some people
who had been flying from airport to airport trying to get to
their final destination.

I felt bad for one particular college kid who had left at
8:00am from Detroit and was still trying to get home to
Seattle and it was 7:00pm in Vegas at the time.

We finally made it to Phoenix by 10:00pm… a full 12 hours
from the time we left Chicago.

Anyway it sure is nice to kick back and relax… I can’t
remember the last time I didn’t leave the house in a 24 hour
period and that’s exactly what we did yesterday. We stayed
at my sister’s house, watched White Christmas, A Christmas
Story and Christmas In Connecticut…. all favorites of the
family.

It really was a delightful day. Now let’s get to the nooz.

Eartha Kitt Dies After Cancer Fight…

Singer and actress Eartha Kitt has died of colon cancer at
the age of 81, a family friend said.

Eartha, the sultry singer, dancer and actress rose from the
South Carolina cotton fields to become an international symbol
of elegance and sensuality.

Andrew Freedman said Kitt died on Christmas Day of colon
cancer and was recently treated at Columbia Presbyterian
Hospital in New York.

Kitt, a self-proclaimed “sex kitten” famous for her catlike
purr, was one of America’s most versatile performers, winning
two Emmys and getting a third nomination.

She also was nominated for two Tony Awards and a Grammy.

Ben Stiller Breaks Hand…

Hollywood funnyman Ben Stiller is recovering after breaking
his hand in a snowboarding accident.

Ben was admitted to New York’s Mount Sinai Hospital on Sunday,
with an injury sustained during an activity day.

A source says, “One of the hospital’s top hand specialists
was called in to treat him.”

Stiller was discharged from the medical centre later that day.

A rep for Ben says, “I can confirm that he broke his hand
snowboarding.”

‘Sopranos’ Commits Suicide…

John Costelloe who played Johnny Cakes, the gay-fireman  lover
of a mob capo on “The Sopranos”, killed himself in a holiday
tragedy that has stunned family and friends.

The front door to John Costelloe’s Sunset Park home was still
sealed with police stickers yesterday, more than a week after
the rugged 47-year-old actor committed suicide.

Costelloe, a former FDNY firefighter, shot himself in the head
in his basement bedroom on Dec. 16, cops and pals said.

Costelloe had a crucial four-episode arc on “The Sopranos” in
2006, playing short-order cook Jim “Johnny Cakes” Witowski.

In the hit HBO series, actor Joseph Gannascoli, a longtime friend
of Costelloe’s, played mobster and closeted homosexual Vito
Spatafore, who fled New Jersey after he was outed.

“I was shocked when I heard, and it still hasn’t really sunk in,”
Gannascoli said. “I never detected anything troubling  about him.
I enjoyed all the time I ever spent with him.”

The Star Wars money-making machine is at it again, this
time with a live stage production.

Come on, can’t you just see it: a chorus line of stormtroopers

E! is reporting that George Lucas has signed off on ‘Star Wars:
A Musical Journey’, a two-hour live musical event featuring
John Williams’ Oscar-winning score.

The show will premiere next year in London and will be performed
by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in sync with movie clips
from the six live-action films, playing in chronological order,
from ‘The Phantom Menace’ to the ‘Return of the Jedi’.

The production is scheduled to premier on April 10th  in London
and then embark on a European tour, complete with an exhibition
of rare Star Wars collectibles including never-before-seen models,
props, costumes and production artwork. No word when it will make
it to America.

new movie may have been dashed after the film’s distributors
filed for bankruptcy?

It’s Kate Beckinsale… Critics had tipped Kate to get her first
Oscar nod for her turn in the drama, ‘Nothing But The Truth’ in
which she plays a reporter who goes to jail rather than name a

But Yari Film Group, the studio behind the film, was forced into
involuntary bankruptcy earlier this month because of the global
financial downturn.

And as a result, Beckinsale’s movie now faces a limited release,
and may not even be advertised.

Director Rod Lurie says, “We don’t know if there will even be
any ads promoting the film now. Kate’s just heard the news and
it’s very frustrating. This is her best performance ever.”

Megan Fox, Hugh Jackman and Johnny Depp have topped a new
online poll of the world’s sexiest screen stars.

‘Transformers’ star Fox came first in the sexiest woman poll,
topping the list voted for by both men and women.

Jackman was voted the most attractive male star in a poll of
other men, while women chose Depp as their favorite movie hunk.

The men who voted in the Fandango.com survey of more than 2,000
readers put Jessica Alba at number two and Scarlett Johansson
at number three. The girls handed second place to Jennifer

Efron Plays Santa For Sick Kids…

Zac Efron made Christmas come early for some young patients at
a Los Angeles hospital - he delighted children by visiting their
ward with some gifts.

Zac went to the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA on Friday to play
Santa Claus by giving away over $12,000 worth of toys.

The kids were ecstatic at their surprise guest, who toured the
wards for two hours, giving out presents including art sets, board
games and High School Musical products, signing autographs and
posing for pictures with staff.

A source said, “He really spent time bonding with each of the
children and their families. The kids were smitten and beaming
from ear to ear. Some of the kids couldn’t even speak, but they
had the widest grins and would sit as close to him as possible.

Former Idol Contestant Luke Menard Cancer Free…

Former ‘American Idol’ contestant Luke Menard has been given the
all-clear from cancer.

The 30-year-old, a finalist in the seventh season of the singing
contest, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer of the
immune system earlier this year (08), but has now been told he
is free from the disease.

He said in an interview, “I’m cancer free according to my last
test scan that I had. It’s been exciting to get that news.”

The singer still has more than a dozen radiation treatments to go
to target the scar tissue left following months of chemotherapy,
but he is thrilled to end 2008 with happy news.

He adds, “We were always praying for this news - to be cancer free.
When you’re going through chemo, it’s kind of a one-day at a time
thing. You don’t know how you’re gonna feel when you wake up in the
morning and sometimes you’re kind of sick and you’re throwing up.

“It’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s
definitely been a year to remember and a year to forget - being
on American Idol, and days after I was eliminated being told I
had cancer. It’s been a crazy year.”

And his time on the reality TV show helped with his battle with
cancer more than he could have dreamed - most of his medical bills
were taken care of by people concerned for him.

He continues, “All the producers from ‘American Idol,’ 19
Entertainment, David Cook, who won American Idol, he has been
extremely helpful, even financially with medical bills. 19
Entertainment has helped out with medical bills, so it’s been
way more than I expected.”

The singer who stopped taking antidepressants while recording
a new album in a bid to confront her inner demons?

It’s Courtney Love… Courtney insists fans will get a glimpse
of her true self with the release of upcoming album Nobody’s
Daughter, because she refused to take any medicines to moderate
her personality.

She tells Elle magazine, “I’m off antidepressants for the moment
because my album producer wants me to feel the rage, wants me to
be really angry, wants me to face the demons. And I am so
f***ing angry!

“I’m getting back on them as soon as recording the album is
finished. I’m not going to punch anybody, but I have to do two
hours of exercise and chanting a day to feel good.”

Her album is slated for release sometime next year.

Her brother said he found her at home with cut wrists after she
had taken several pills, a police report said.

She had been “very intoxicated” after a night out, he told police.

A hospital spokeswoman said the troubled singer, 33, who is
best known for her hit ‘Guys Do It All The Time’, was in a
stable condition.

In October, McCready was released from jail after serving about
30 days for breaking probation for a 2004 drug charge.

That charge, for fraudulently obtaining prescription painkillers,
was the first of a series of run-ins with the law for the singer.

Death of Mark Ruffalo’s Brother Scott Ruffalo Ruled Homicide…

Well this has to be pretty maddening for the Ruffalo family…
first Scott Ruffalo was murdered, then he committed suicide, now
authorities are saying it was indeed a homicide.

Police, in the meantime, do not have any suspects in custody and
haven’t been notified of the coroner’s determination by Wednesday
evening, Sgt. Michael Publicker testified. He said the agency had
no further statements on the case. A motive for the shooting also
hasn’t been made just yet.

Scott Ruffalo, the younger brother of actor Mark Ruffalo, was
found in critical condition at his apartment in Beverly Hills
early on December 1st with a gunshot wound to the head.

He passed away on December 8 after being taken off life support.

Shaha Mishaal Adham turned herself into the authorities prior
to Scott’s death as she was pronounced as suspect in the case.
She was booked for suspicion of attempted murder, which had
since been upgraded to murder.

Initially being held without bail, she was cleared of charge
and released from jail following a five-hour court hearing on
December 9, during when her legal attorney presented evidence
to detectives that proved Shaha wasn’t guilty.

Bond Actress Cawley Murdered…

Irish actress Celine Cawley has been found murdered
following a robbery at her home. She was 46.

The star, who appeared in 1985 James Bond movie ‘A View To
Kill’, was found bludgeoned to death at her home in Dublin
on Monday.

Cawley reportedly disturbed an intruder at her home who then
turned on her. She was discovered by her husband, Eamonn
Lillis, who allegedly saw a masked intruder fleeing the scene
as he returned home from walking the dogs.

Tests are being conducted on a brick that detectives believe
was used to beat the actress to death.

Cawley is survived by her husband and her only child.

This famed director and popular actress will never work together
again because too many life-changing events occur when they team
up.

It’s Director Baz Luhrmann and Nicole Kidman… The pair first
collaborated on 2001’s Moulin Rouge! as Kidman’s marriage to
Tom Cruise was coming to an end. Tom filed for divorce in February
2001… just three months before the movie’s world premiere at the
Cannes Film Festival.

Lurhmann’s father also died during the production.

And during their second project together, new movie ‘Australia’,

Spencer Pratt & Heidi Montag’s ‘I Do’s’ Questioned…

It’s still under question as to whether Spencer Pratt
and Heidi Montag of “The Hills” are legally married,
according to a new report.

In the season finale promo of the reality show, Spencer
and Heidi seem to be making their Mexican marriage official
in a California court of law but that may not be the case.

A Los Angeles Superior Court official is claiming that
MTV was granted permission to shoot in a courtroom in
Beverly Hills after-hours and the person that takes the
bench on the show is not one of their judges, The
Associated Press reports.

An AP check of marriage records last week did not show any
filings by Spencer or Heidi in Los Angeles County.

The couple’s California marriage ceremony can be seen on
Monday’s season finale of MTV’s “The Hills.”

Ryan Seacrest is facing a lawsuit from a TV tycoon,
accusing him of stealing the idea for his new reality
show from a four-year-old Turkish series.

Papers filed on Monday in Manhattan federal court charge
Seacrest and NBC network with ripping off the idea for
his new series ‘Momma’s Boys’ from ‘Perfect Bride’, which
debuted in Turkey in 2004.

The series, which follows bachelors and their moms as
they struggle to find a suitable bride for their boys,
was “willfully appropriated” according to the suit, filed
by Luftu Murat Uckardesler.

Uckardesler is seeking to bar Seacrest’s show from TV for
copyright and trademark infringement.

Uckardesler’s attorney says, “It’s like me having a talent
show and saying: ‘We’re going to pick the next American Idol.”

A spokesperson for NBC said it hasn’t yet seen the suit,
but “is familiar with the plaintiffs’ allegations, which
are entirely without merit.”

news. Rock band No Doubt featuring Gwen Stefani have pushed
back the release of their next album until 2010 - so they

Gwen recently revealed the band would hit the road in 2009,
and that a new LP was in the works - their first in more
than seven years.

Drummer Adrian Young confirms he and his bandmates are
working on new music - but a release is a long way off.

He says, “We’ve been working on a new record off and on now
for a bit of time, and we’re going to continue to work on a
new record next year.

“We’re going to start touring in the spring of 09 through
the summer, and we’re going to continue to work on music
while we’re traveling. (We’ll have) a mobile studio on

The actor who has no regrets after handing his role in 2000
movie ‘Meet The Parents’ over to Ben Stiller?

It’s Jim Carrey… Jim claims he created the original concept
for the highly successful film and began developing the
project with legendary director Steven Spielberg.

Jim, who was due to take the lead role in the movie, and
Spielberg, were both subsequently forced to drop out, citing
scheduling commitments.

The part was then handed to Ben Stiller, who went on to make a
hit sequel, ‘Meet The Fockers’, in 2004.

But Carrey insists he is glad he walked away from the project,
because Stiller was much better suited to the role.

He told Larry King, “Meet the Parents was something that I was
developing with Steven Spielberg. Yes. I actually created the
Fockers in a creative meeting. Yes. But, it was perfect that
Ben Stiller did it. When I saw it, I went ‘That’s the way it’s
supposed to be done’.”

Christina Hendricks, 33,  who plays the bombshell head
secretary on AMC’s Emmy-winning ‘Mad Men’, is engaged to actor
Geoffrey Arend, her rep said.

Arend, 30, plays an ad man on TNT’s upcoming drama ‘Trust Me’,
which premieres in January.  The couple has not yet set a

Jennifer Hudson Cancels Video Shoot…

The Oscar-winning actress/singer was due to start shooting
the promo for her latest single, If It Isn’t Love, in October
but was forced to scrap the plans and return to her native Chicago
after her mother, brother and nephew were killed.

Darnell Donerson and Jason Hudson were found shot dead at their
home in the city. Hudson’s nephew Julian King, seven, was found
dead three days later. The star’s estranged brother-in-law has
been charged with all three murders.

Earlier this week, Hudson announced she would begin filming the
postponed project next week, but has now reportedly put the plans
on hold once again, after deciding she is not yet ready to
face work.

A source says, “The video was set up before the tragedy and she
felt like she should finish what she started, but she’s realized
that she’s not ready to go back to work. It’s too early.”

A rep for Hudson has confirmed the shoot will not be taking place,
but insisted that plans to start filming next week were never
finalized, saying: “The video shoot was never confirmed.”

after being involved in a car accident Friday in Malibu, his

‘Dukes Of Hazzard’ star John Schneider is appealing for the safe
return of two puppies stolen with his car from a shopping mall.

The Yorkiepoo and Yorkshire Terrier, which Schneider planned
to give to his children for Christmas, were in the back of the
Cadillac Escalade when it was snatched from Sherman Oaks’
Fashion Square Mall in California.

The car was later recovered, without the dogs, prompting John
to appear on a Los Angeles radio show to plead for the 10-week-
old pooches’ safe return.

He told KIIS FM DJ Valentine on Wednesday, “I understand what’s
going on in the economy and I understand that… Nobody stole the
car because the dogs were in it. If you have been given the
gift of two little puppies or even one of our puppies - if

dancing partner, not realizing cameras were still rolling.

Police cleared a woman arrested in the shooting death of
actor Mark Ruffalo’s younger brother after being shown
evidence that the wound was self-inflicted, the result of
playing with a gun, her attorney said Wednesday.

Police records confirmed that Shaha Mishaal Adham, 26, left
the Beverly Hills jail, where she’d been held without bail
since surrendering Monday afternoon on an attempted murder
arrest warrant.

Attorney Ronald Richards said he presented evidence to
detectives during a five-hour meeting Tuesday night that
proved Adham did not shoot Scott Ruffalo early Dec. 1. He
said Ruffalo’s gunshot wound to the head was self-inflicted…

Fugitive rapper DMX is back behind bars after Federal officers
tracked him down to an island off the coast of Florida.

A bench warrant was issued for the star’s arrest after he missed a
court appearance in Arizona on Friday, where he was due to face
charges of drug possession, identity theft and animal cruelty.

A $5,000 reward was offered for his capture, and FBI agents tracked
him down to a residence on Palm Island, off Miami Beach, on Tuesday.

DMX, real name Earl Simmons, is currently being held in Miami-Dade
County jail.

A bench warrant was also issued on the rapper, who has been arrested
numerous times over the past year, in September when he missed a
previous appearance at an Arizona court after being hospitalized for
symptoms reportedly associated with a stroke. He later appeared for
a short hearing.

Coldplay Dismisses Plagiarism Allegations…

Rockers Coldplay have hit back at claims their single VIVA LA VIDA
ripped-off a track by guitarist Joe Satriani insisting any similarity
is a coincidence.

Satriani filed a lawsuit at Los Angeles federal court last week,
claiming Coldplay copied segments from his 2004 instrumental ‘If I
Could Fly’ to use in their 2008 hit track. He is seeking damages and
profits from Viva La Vida, claiming he was devastated when he first
heard the song, saying, “I felt like a dagger went right through my
heart. It hurt so much. The second I heard it, I knew it was If
I Could Fly.”

But the band has responded dismissing the allegations in a statement.

It reads, “With the greatest possible respect to Joe Satriani, we
have now unfortunately found it necessary to respond publicly to his
allegations. If there are any similarities between our two pieces of
music, they are entirely coincidental, and just as surprising to us
as to him. Joe Satriani is a great musician, but he did not write the
song Viva La Vida. We respectfully ask him to accept our assurances
of this, and wish him well with all future endeavors. Coldplay.”

William Baldwin is begging fans to save his struggling TV
show ‘Dirty Sexy Money’ amid fears the show faces cancellation.

William appeared on the ‘Today Show’ and admitted the series
is in turmoil after network bosses announced other ABC shows
would soon be pulled from the air.

He said, “I think between the writers strike, (which) definitely
hurt television, the economy going south, and then Wall Street
collapsing, the networks are in full retreat mode.”

Urging fans to take action, he added, “ABC has, I believe, cancelled
‘Eli Stone’ and ‘Pushing Daisies’. And ‘Pushing Daisies’ has 12
Emmy nominations. Our show is in trouble and if you’re a fan of the
show I really encourage you to watch the next couple of weeks and I
would say go to ABC.com and click on Dirty Sexy Money.

“There’s a place where you can send an email to the executives at
ABC if you want - not boycott and protest, but if you want to support

The actress who was left red-faced on a recent flight after her
11-year-old son forgot to tell her he was carrying a toy gun in
his travel bag.

It’s Jennifer Connelly… Jennifer has long been terrified of
flying because something bad always seems to happen when she
travels on planes.

And her fears reached new heights when her son’s innocent mistake
launched a police investigation at the airport.

She says, “We were coming back from London it had been Halloween.
My son, Kai, was worried about the Halloween candy he had in
his bag…

“We go through security, he puts his bag through and the alarm
goes off. the lights go off, officers start coming, everybody’s
pointing at us whispering.

“The woman says… ‘There’s a gun in your bag.’ My son goes, ‘Oh,
no! It’s my toy gun for my costume.’

“I said (to him), ‘You’re telling me you’ve got a mini Butter-
finger, but you don’t tell me you’ve got a gun in your bag?’”
