Singing sensation Susan Boyle has been dubbed “overrated” by
pop star Lily Allen.

Susan has become a global sensation since she first appeared
on reality TV show “Britain’s Got Talent” and captivated
judges Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan with her powerful voice.

But Lily isn’t impressed and is backing Susan’s big rival,
12-year-old Shaheen Jarfagholi, to triumph, according to
Access Hollywood.

Lily wrote on her Twitter account, “i thought her timing was
off, no control, and i don’t think she has an amazing voice.’

“yes, she can sing, but it’s not about talent with her is it?,”
Lily wrote.

“she seems like a lovely lady but if its about talent,that
Shaheen kid should win.

Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman Broadway bound…

Together again for the first time, Hugh Jackman and Daniel
Craig on stage.

Nothing has been officially confirmed but two of Hollywood’s
reigning hunks may be paired next fall on Broadway in “A
Steady Rain,” a two-character drama by Keith Huff.

Hugh and Daniel are set to star in the play about two Chicago
policemen, friends since childhood, whose lives take divergent
paths after an unnerving incident.

“A Steady Rain” was a big hit in Chicago in September 2007
at a small theater and transferred the following year to
another venue for a commercial run.

Huff, who has a master’s from the University of Iowa’s
Playwright’s Workshop has extensive regional theater credits.
“A Steady Rain” would be his Broadway debut. A telephone call
to his agent, John Buzzetti, seeking confirmation of the
production, was not returned.

“A Steady Rain” would also be the New York stage debut for
Daniel, who skyrocketed to film stardom as the latest
cinematic James Bond. Hugh, the movies’ Wolverine from all
the “X-Men” movies, proved to be a major Broadway box-office
draw five years ago, playing entertainer Peter Allen in the
musical “The Boy from Oz.”

In a video posted in January on YouTube, Huff talked about
casting “A Steady Rain” with famous actors. The playwright
told Chicago-based writer Mark Bazer: “I think it would be
kind of cool to see Daniel Craig do it. My wife would be
happy.”

Man Alleges Assault by Chris Brown’s Bodyguard….

Chris Brown is facing more legal trouble, this time from
a man who claims he was beaten up by the singer’s bodyguard.

Robert Rosen is suing Chris, for personal injury, alleging
he was roughed up after taking a snapshot of Chris at a Los
Angeles fitness club on March 13, according to the lawsuit
filed in L.A. Superior Court.

Robert claims he was chased by the bodyguard, who yelled
at him after taking the picture while Chris was playing
basketball, and attempted to run away, but an employee of
L.A. Fitness Club allegedly “tried to block Robert’s exit
and grabbed his clothing and body.”

Robert broke free but then fell down a flight of stairs,
the lawsuit says. The bodyguard then allegedly “picked
Robert up by his shorts, and physically assaulted him,”
according to the lawsuit. Robert adds he was “severely
injured and disabled, both internally and externally,”
claims he was falsely imprisoned, and is seeking damages
covering his medical bills and emotional distress.

Robert, who’s also suing the fitness club for negligence
and other claims, argues its employees did not adequately
protect him.

Robert’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, says, “This is a specious
and frivolous lawsuit by one of the paparazzi seeking
publicity and a payday. He’s done this before and lost.
We will vigorously defend against this.”

An L.A. Fitness Club manager at the gym at issue had
no comment.

My Chemical Romance Singer & His Wife Have a Baby!…

The rocker couple Gerard Way and Lyn-Z welcomed a baby girl,
Bandit Lee Way, on Wednesday, his rep confirms.

“Gerard and Lindsey Way welcomed their first child on May 27,”
the rep said. “Their daughter, Bandit Lee Way, was born in Los
Angeles at 2:57 p.m. and weighs 6 lbs., 5.6 oz. Everyone is
healthy and happy.”

Gerald, is the singer for My Chemical Romance and a comic-book
artist. Lindsey Ballato is the bassist for punk band Mindless
Self Indulgence.

The couple were married in September 2007. They announced the
pregnancy in November. This is their first child.

Movie star Josh Brolin is set to take on a leading tabloid
over allegations he spent the night with a fan.

Josh, who is married to actress Diane Lane, was spotted
“getting cozy” with a female fan at bars in New Orleans,
where he’s filming new movie “Jonah Hex.”

Josh allegedly partied with Melissa Green at the Royal
Street Inn and another establishment last week, and the
two left early the following morning, according to reports.

An eyewitness tells the publication, “They left together.
Josh looked like he hadn’t slept at all and she was wearing
the same outfit as the night before and looked embarrassed.”

Josh and Diane’s publicist failed to respond to requests for
a comment at press time.

Heigl Rep Shoots Down Salary Demand Rumors…

Katherine Heigl’s representative has lashed out at reports
that the actress was dropped from an upcoming A-list movie
ensemble due to her extortionate salary demands.

Katherine, who broke into movies with 2007 comedy hit
“Knocked Up,” was expected to join Hollywood superstars
Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner and Anne Hathaway in
romantic comedy “Valentine’s Day,” due to hit screens
in 2011.

But according to online reports, Katherine was booted out
of the casting line-up after demanding payment of $3
million dollars, despite working for a maximum of 14 days.

A source close to the project tells New York gossip column
PageSix that “no other actors asked for nearly that amount.”

However, Katherine’s publicist refutes the rumors, insisting
it was the actress who decided not to take part in the film.

Katherine’s rep says, “The story is ludicrous. Early
negotiations are a daily occurrence in this business,
and just for clarification, Katherine walked away from
this project for multiple reasons.”

Actress Winona Ryder has opened up about the depression she
suffered after splitting up with ex-fiance Johnny Depp.

The break-up was Winona’s first brush with heartbreak, and
she admits she took it badly, despite it coinciding with
the peak of her acting career.

Winona doesn’t mention Depp by name, but admits her first
romance ended shortly after she shot the 1992 movie “Dracula.”
Her engagement to the actor ended less than a year later.

Winona, says, “I had just done ‘Dracula’ and ‘Edward
Scissorhands.’ I had just had my first real break-up, the
first heartbreak.

“And I think it was really ironic because, like, everybody
else just thought I had everything in the world … (and)
I had no reason to be depressed. Everything was sort of at

Katy Perry has risked upsetting boyfriend Travis McCoy
by revealing she’d marry his best friend, Pete Wentz,
and “definitely” bed John Mayer.

Katy, who reunited with the Gym Class Heroes front man in
April after their December split came clean about her
celebrity crushes during an interview on an Australian
radio show.

In a game of “Shoot, Shag or Marry,” Katy confessed she
would love a bedroom romp with Mayer, over other rockers
Benji Madden and Pete Wentz.

Katy says, “I couldn’t marry John Mayer, it’d be so intense.
I’d definitely shag the [bleep] out of him though. I’ll go
on record saying that.”
