Just to let you know about our schedule this week. We
will not be publishing a Thursday edition… but we’ll
keep you up to date with the nooz on Friday!
I for one am looking forward to Thanksgiving. Not only is
it nice to have a couple of extra days off, but two of
my nephews will be back in town from college.
It will be nice to see them. It’s funny how much I miss
them. It’s not like I saw them all the time when they were
here, but just knowing they are away makes me miss them.

‘Gossip Girl’ Star To Record Album…
Leighton Meester , who plays socialite Blair Waldorf in the hit
teen drama, ‘Gossip Girl’, is following her lifelong dream to be
a singer by writing and recording new material.
And Meester loves the recording process, because it’s completely
different from filming a TV show.
She says, “I’ve always done (music), just now I am actually doing
an album that I plan to release.
“It’s so cool because it’s a completely different creative process.
From beginning to end it’s yours and you make it… You can see the
finished product.
“It’s sometimes hard when you’re acting to be like, ‘Oh I see the
finished product right before my eyes’. So it’s cool you’re there
from start to finish when you are writing.”

Is Nicollette Sheridan Dating David Spade?…
Nicollette Sheridan had a special guest at her party
for her 45th Birthday and rumor has it, he’s her new beau.
It’s David Spade.
Celebrating her birthday at new L.A. hot spot Luau with
‘Desperate Housewives’ costars Felicity Huffman, onscreen
husband Neal McDonough and Kyle MacLachlan, the newly single
Sheridan at first played it coy with David.
“They arrived separately and even started dinner at different
booths,” says an onlooker. It was a familiar scene: The duo
were spotted a couple of weeks ago at the restaurant’s opening,
where they spent the night in deep conversation. This time,
though, things got a little more intimate.
“They cuddled and kissed,” says an onlooker. “They were full-on
making out in a booth.”
Decked out in a sequined gold frock, the birthday girl sipped
on lychee martinis throughout the night and giddily enjoyed a
specialty cake that read “Happy Birthday Princessa.”
While a source insists the two aren’t dating, the onlooker said
that “David winked at her and stood by her side while she blew
out the candles on her cake.”

Beatty Battles To Keep Rights To Dick Tracy…
Warren Beatty is suing a multimedia company over the rights to
comic book detective Dick Tracy.
Warren filed the suit at Los Angeles federal court last week in
a bid to prevent media giant Tribune Co. from forcing him to
relinquish the rights over the character.
Warren has owned the film and TV rights to Dick Tracy since 1985,
going on to play the title role in the 1990 big screen version
opposite Al Pacino and Madonna.
According to the case documents, Tribune Co. could reclaim the
rights from Beatty if he failed to produce a Dick Tracy based
show, film or TV special over a “certain period of time”.
Beatty claims he began filming a TV special on November 8th.
The lawsuit will decide whether the project will prevent Tribune
Co. from taking back the character from Beatty.

Evan Rachel Wood Ignites Romance With Gordon-Levitt…
Evan Rachel Wood has sparked reports she’s moved on from her
romance with rocker Marilyn Manson - after she was spotted in
the arms of actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Los Angeles.
The 21-year-old star and ‘3rd Rock From The Sun’ actor, 27,
appeared together on November 9th at the Hamilton Behind the
Camera Awards.
And according reports, Wood has ignited a new love affair.
A source said, “This thing with Joseph has come out of nowhere.
They’ve taken everyone by surprise. They were having so much
fun together. They were dancing wildly, drinking and flirting.
“Joseph’s a genuinely nice guy. He and Evan Rachel are very
compatible and make a cute couple. After her relationship with
Manson, there’s no doubt in my mind her parents are relived
she’s finally dating someone clean-cut and closer to her age.”
Manson, 39, and Wood began dating in December 2006, following
his split from ex-wife, burlesque star Dita Von Teese. They
announced their break-up earlier this month.

after finding fame as a teenager with Destiny’s Child.
But her mother Tina brought her back down to earth - by
embarrassing her with a public smacking in front of amazed
shoppers.
Beyonce says, “There have been times where my mom has literally
smacked me in my face. When I was 19 - when I was confused and
wondering what am I doing, who am I? - we were in the record
store, my mom and dad were both there, and my song was playing,
and I was feeling like hot stuff.
“She was asking me something and I started singing while she was
talking to me. And there were some really cute guys in the store
who were noticing me, and I was like, ‘Oh yeah! I’m hot!’ And my
mom said, ‘I’m talking to you’. And I kept singing. And so she
smacked me - slapped me in my face, so hard.
“And my dad said, ‘What are you doing?’ Because I didn’t get
spankings growing up. They didn’t believe in that. My mom says,
